1. Enable USB Debugging Mode for Android 2.3 and Earlier

Step 1. Click menu on your Android device, go to your Settings app. You need to enter Application options.

 

Step 2. Then Click Development.

 

Step 3. Check mark on the box beside USB Debugging or Android Debugging.

 

2. Enable USB Debugging Mode for Android 4.0 - 4.1.2

Step 1. Click Menu on your device and go to your Settings app.

 

Step 2. Click Developer Options.

 

Step 3. Turn on Developer Options by sliding the switch on the top-right.

 

Step 4. Check mark on the box beside USB Debugging or Android Debugging.

 

3. Enable USB Debugging Mode on Android 4.2 and Newer

Step 1. Click Menu on your device and go to your Settings app.

 

Step 2. Go to About Phone.

 

Step 3. Click Build Number up to 7 times. On the 3rd click, you will receive the message “You are now 4 steps away from being a developer”. After the 7th click, you will get a message that says “You are now a developer!” The Developer Options will now appear in your Settings app right above About Phone.

 

Step 4. Enable Developer Settings by sliding the switch.

 

Step 5. Check mark on the box beside USB Debugging or Android Debugging.
